Windborne specialize in close harmony singing, shifting effortlessly between dramatically different styles of traditional music. Their musical knowledge spans many continents and cultures but they remain deeply rooted in American folk singing traditions. 

Windborne combines bold and innovative harmonies, styles from a variety of cultures with traditions of harmony singing, and a vocal blend that comes from longtime friendship and years of singing together. They also carry on the alliance of folk music and social activism, breathing new life into songs of change from the past that still ring true in modern times.

 BUY WORKSHOP TICKETS HERE In this workshop, they will teach songs from their American roots, including songs of protest and freedom from their albums To Warm the Winter Hearth and Song on the Times, alongside folk songs gathered during their travels. The workshop is open to everyone and all the songs and harmonies will be taught by ear by Jeremy Carter-Gordon, Lynn Rowan, Will Rowan, and Lauren Breunig. To round off the day in style, we will become the audience and Windborne will perform for us.
